About me

I am an Assistant Professor in Statistics at the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at UC Irvine. Before this, I was a UW data science postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics at the University of Washington, working with Dr. Daniela Witten and Dr. Jacob Bien. I obtained my Ph.D. in Biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health advised by Dr. Nilanjan Chatterjee and Dr. Abhirup Datta. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata before that.
